The gametes, injected oocytes or zygotes are enclosed in a capsule and placed in the maternal uterine cavity during the early development stages, thus benefiting from a customized and adapted environment created by the mother. After the chosen culture period, the device and embryos are recovered. They are assessed using traditional tools and the required number of embryos are transferred following the traditional procedure.
This method restores the fertilization and early development of the embryos to the natural environment of the maternal womb. This is expected to increase the number of high-quality embryos and improve the success rate of the assisted reproductive cycle. The preliminary results are encouraging. Anecova is therefore currently undertaking further clinical evaluation, in close collaboration with international experts in the field, aiming to significantly improve the assisted reproduction experience for patients around the world.
